Choose Our District!

The Mission of the Northern Ozaukee School District is to prepare students to think critically, to make informed decisions, to be continual learners, to value learning, and to be productive members of a democratic society.

We strive for excellence in academics and recognize that we are growing future leaders and active community members. Our teachers and staff members are among the very best and are committed to helping each student find individual achievement through instruction and example.

The district encompasses 36 square miles of suburban and rural areas located approximately 30 miles north of the greater Milwaukee area. The communities served by the district include the Village of Fredonia, Town of Fredonia, Town of Belgium, and Town of Saukville. In addition, the district serves approximately 625 students through its virtual school, Wisconsin Virtual Learning, Inc.

Residents work in vocational areas of agriculture, business, manufacturing, medical, and government. The district’s overall operation budget is $14,000,000.

PHILOSOPHY
Northern Ozaukee School District is committed to knowing, valuing, and appreciating the uniqueness of every child. The small size of the district allows our highly-qualified, dedicated, and compassionate faculty and staff members to know and develop positive relationships with all students, as well as establish high expectations for the continual improvement of student learning and achievement. Students are surrounded by supportive, caring, and innovative professional educators who strive to help every student realize his or her fullest potential as a learner.
